Livestock Reality: "Citizens know that meat production is not the main cause of GHG emissions"

The Livestock Reality platform, an alliance of organizations from related sectors related to livestock farming united to exchange opinions and information on communication issues related to livestock farming in Spain, has echoed a study carried out on citizens of Brazil, France, Germany, the The United Kingdom and the United States do not consider industrially farmed meat to be a key contributor to climate change. In contrast, data reveals that livestock contributes only 14.5% of global GHG emissions, while the industry, transportation and energy sectors account for more than 80%,The vast majority.

The data showed that financial security and personal health are the main concerns of citizens when considering their diets.
